Fitness Legend Ray Wilson and Ultimate Fitness Center are teaming up.

Former Family Gym Main st. will be teaming up with Ultimate Fitness Center and Ray Wilson and operating under the name "ULTIMATE FITNESS CENTER".

Ultimate Fitness Center was founded in 1996 by former Family Fitness Center employee Rob Hueso.   Rob's club model was created with one goal in mind and that is to provide an elite training center by offering group classes for athletes and families all under one roof thus the name "ULTIMATE FITNESS CENTER".  The club provides CORE SPECIFIC  training classes that are next to none and have facilitated athletes in the MLB, NFL, MMA, BMX and professional wrestling. Rob has kept the club's positive image, and has successfully served the community of  Chula Vista for over two decades. A key element of the overall success was attributed to Rob's  business and management skills learned from his former employer and fitness legend Ray Wilson.

There is great excitement and talk that future locations will soon be opening and expanding throughout the US and Mexico. Time has proven again and again that Ray Wilson is a leader and a pioneer in the fitness industry. Under the supervision and guidance of Ray Wilson, this will prove once again to be a successful company. 

The second new location will be the former Family Gym Main St located in San Diego California and will be operating under the name "ULTIMATE FITNESS CENTER".   The Main Street location will be open during remodeling and a grand opening date will soon be announced.

It's the start that stops most people.

The start is what stops most people from changing their habits to live a healthy life style.  Reasons may vary from the fear of change, fear of long term contracts, the gym is intimidating, or it seems like a "large investment" etc.  Some how we claim to have a great and valid reason not to go to the gym and live a healthy lifestyle.



The reality is that it is crucial to live a healthy life style.  There is more to the gym then getting that "BEACH BODY".    It is important for us  to live a healthy life style in order to keep  our blood pressure and blood sugars  within healthy levels as we age.

Exercise should be used as a form of preventative health care for your body.  Too often we become stuck in our routine of excuses to justify why we can not work out or why we do not like they gym.



Not only have I worked in the industry for over 10 years, but I have seen first hand with close family members the struggle to begin healthy life once the negative effect of high blood pressure and diabetes begin.  Remember a healthy body also keeps the mind strong and healthy.  Once your body begins feel the effects of an unhealthy  lifestyle, this will roll over to effect the mental health with issues such as depression and social anxiety.  What I mean is that you will look at your self in the mirror and say "its too late" "why start now"  "no one cares" or " I'll be as good as I used to be".


Do not let this happen to you. Do not wait until your are on a arsenal of medication for health reasons that could have been prevented by a basic fitness routine.

Believe me, it is start that stops most people.
"Make the sacrifice" for 1 month and you will see the improved energy levels, better sleep, better self esteem, and a better quality of life.  2 or 3 days a week at the gym for preventative maintenance on your body is all you need to get the ball rolling.
